chai it!

Get it? eh eh?
i always thought chai tea was some namby pamby Californian sorta drink, much the same as sushi and pilates. But since i do pilates and eat sushi now i decided to try some chai (eh eh eh)
Good ol' Frankie came through with a relatively simple recipe, that even i, did not turn into a "lolfail".and it even comes with video instructions for those less literacy inclined (i.e me)

Ingredients
1 1/4 cinnamon sticks
6 cloves
6 black peppercorns (i did three)
6 green cardamons
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon fennel seeds

Preparation

Dry roast all the ingredients except the ginger for about 1-4 minutes. Then add the ginger and leave to cool. Grind down in a pestle & mortar or a coffee grinder. Keep in an airtight container for up to 6 months. Add ¼ teaspoon to flavour 2 cups of tea.

I added sugar to mine and used milk instead of water (cause I'm healthy like that) If you wanna make it extra yummy add cocoa powder. And more sugar.
