Home is a funny word, that as different meanings for everyone. For many home isn't actually the "house, apartment, or other shelter that is the usual residence of a person, family, or household." I went over to watch 'Zookeeper' (not my choice!) with my nextdoor neighbours the other day. When I arrived they were playing super mario galaxy, and I asked if they had super mario kart*, to which they replied "No, it's at home." Their parents had divorced obviously it was a perfectly innocent sentence for an 8 year old to have said, having no idea of the connotations. This was not their home, but merely a place they stayed every second weekend. And even though it was a "house, apartment, or other shelter that is the usual residence of a person, family, or household." it definetly was not their home.
*a secret obsession of mine since a week bedridden from chicken pox, equipped with only a ds.
